Mineral makeup from Lily Lolo does not include harmful ingredients such as parabens, fragrances or fillers that may irritate your skin, making it great for anyone with an allergy or sensitive skin. it is also oil-free, meaning it won't aggravate acne.
Mineral foundation is applied like a powder with a brush, rather than a traditional liquid foundation that is applied with a sponge or your fingers. It offers great coverage but looks amazingly natural and you'll be amazed how little you need and how long your mineral foundation will last for.
Lily Lolo foundation is not like other powders as it does not contain talc or cornstarch and so will not dry out the skin. The particles also reflect light which makes your skin look fresh and bright, rather than powdery.
The foundation is best applied with a large kabuki brush, although any large makeup brush will do. To apply, simply dip the brush in the powder, tap off the excess and apply in a circular motion. for greater coverage, simply apply more powder. You can apply with a smaller brush for a concealer effect.
Lily Lolo foundation has an SPF of 15 and will naturally protect your skin from the damaging effects of the sun. The powder is made primarily from zinc oxide, which is the same active ingredient that is used in sun block.
As well as foundation, Lily Lolo also sell a range of blushes, bronzers and eye shadows in highly pigmented shades, all made up from mineral powders. Mineral makeup is applied in the same way as other makeup but you need less as they are so concentrated.
Lip glosses and lipstick is also available from Lily Lolo cosmetics. These are made from natural mineral powders mixed with oils and waxes such as beeswax and seed oil. it is also possible to use the eye and blush powders as a lipstick by blending them with a little lip balm. Nail polish can also be created by mixing the pigmented powders with clear nail varnish.
To create a full flawless look, kits are available including foundation, finishing powder, eye shadows and brushes. These kits also make a great gift.
Lily Lolo cosmetics are available from many stockists throughout the UK, or you can purchase the products directly from their website.
